Clifford P. Block, a founding partner of the firm, is a native of Northwest Arkansas with a general law practice in Little Rock, Arkansas. Mr. Block is a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville with a degree in Public Administration. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 4.0 G.P.A. and the honor of Senior Scholar. He was listed on the National Dean’s List.

Mr. Block attended law school at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and obtained his Juris Doctorate Degree with Honors from the Law School at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. In 1995, he scored the highest grade on the Bar Exam and received a Citation from the Arkansas House of Representatives for this honor.

Mr. Block has worked for the Arkansas Attorney General’s Office in the areas of Consumer Protection, Civil Litigation and headed up the Office’s Medicaid Fraud Control Unit. While serving in these roles, in addition to normal duties, he drafted legislative proposals and presented those proposals for passage in the General Assembly.  He also served as special counsel to the Attorney General.

Prior to his legal career, Mr. Block owned and operated a successful automobile related business and served as chairman of a state regulatory board. Some of his civic endeavors have included the American Red Cross and extensive efforts on behalf of rural fire protection.

Mr. Block’s law practice focuses on commercial and business litigation, administrative representation and governmental affairs. As a former Associate Editor with the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Law Journal, he had published, "Arkansas New Motor Vehicle Quality Assurance Act—A Branch of Hope for Lemon Owners." 16 U.Ark. Little Rock L.J. 493 (1994). Mr. Block has received awards in Evidence, Constitutional Law, and Federal Jurisdiction.
